Three teams share lead in Philosophia Chess League

Three teams -- Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, Nebula Chess Club and Sharon Sporting Club -- shared the top slot in the Philosophia 2nd Division Chess League with four points after the second round matches at the federation hall room in the city Friday, reports UNB.
Three teams -- Friends Chess Power, Al-Haz MA Karim Daba Club and Dragon Chess Club -- followed the leaders securing three points each.
In the 2nd round matches, Muktijoddha beat District Sports Association of Sirajganj 3-1, Nebula Chess beat Habiganj Chess Club 3.5-1.5, Sharon Sporting beat Dania Power Chess Club 2.5-1.5, Friends Chess drew with Al-Haz MA Karim 2-2, Dragon Chess beat
Kasparov Chess Club 4-0, Agrani Bank Karmachari Union CBA beat Ulon Chess Club 3-1, Royal Electronics outplayed Sabbir Group 4-0, Bangladesh Women m, Chess Association drew with Ekota Shapla Sangah 2-2.
The 3rd round matches will be held today (Saturday) at 4:00 pm at the same venue.
