Tigers eyeing series win today

Eyeing to series victory Bangladesh will face visiting Pakistan in their second encounter of the three-match Dan Cake One Day International (ODI) Cricket series with a 1-0 advantage at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur Sunday, reports UNB.

The match will begin at 2:30 pm.

Bangladesh ODI Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is coming back in the squad in today's second ODI after a one-match suspension.

Pakistan fast bowler Ehsan Adil suffered an injury that ruled him out of the ongoing ODI series.

Adil will be replaced by Umar Gul for the rest of the ODI series who was already named in the T20I side. Gul is scheduled to leave Pakistan later Saturday for Bangladesh.

Adil got injured during a practice session and did not play in the first ODI.

Bangladesh has found a stable side in the last 18 months. They achieved their target of reaching the World Cup quarterfinals.  Mashrafe Mortaza is leading a side with the experience of Shakib Al Hasan, who met the role as captain in the first ODI.

In the first bilateral month-long series in four years between the two nations, Bangladesh and Pakistan scheduled to play three ODI's, one T20I and two Test matches.

The third ODI and the only T20I will also be held at SBNCS on April 22 and 24.

The first Test match will begin at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on April 28 while the second one at the SBNCS on May 6.

Bangladesh Squad: Tamim Iqbal, Rony Talakdar, Soumya Sarker, Mominul Hoque, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmud Ullah, Nasir Hossain, Shabbir Rahaman, Masrafe Bin Mortaza (Captain), Taskin Ahmed, Abul Hasan Raju, Rubel Hossain and Arafat Sunny.

Pakistan ODI squad: Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Hafeez, Asad Shafiq, Fawad Alam, Azhar Ali (captain), Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Sohail, Sohaib Maqsood, Sami Aslam, Saeed Ajmal, Yasir Shah, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali, Umar Gul, Sohail Khan.
