Tigers\\\' fans wait for SA

Tigers' fans are earnestly waiting for the South African cricketers who will arrive tomorrow (Tuesday) to play two Tests, three one-day internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 matches, reports BSS.

Bangladesh cricketers are on cloud nine with thumping 3-0 ODI win over hapless Pakistan and almost repeated their onslaught against mighty India.

It was Tigers first ever ODI series win over two former World Champions -India and Pakistan.

Local Cricket pundits believe South Africa will be a tough nut to crack and it will also be an acid test for Bangladesh whether they can win ODI series against the inform South Africa.

The tour will begin with two Twenty20 internationals in city's Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on July 5 and July 7.

The first two 50-over games will be on July 10 and 12, also at the same venue. The third and final ODI is scheduled at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city of Chittagong on July 15.

The same venue will also host the first Test from July 21-25. The Proteas, who have a comfortable lead at the top of the world Test rankings, will play their final match of their tour when they take on host Bangladesh in the second Test at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium from July 30 to August 3.

The South African tour will follow visits by Pakistan and India in April and June.

Australia are also expected to travel to Bangladesh in October for two Tests.
