Tigers play practice match today

In a bid to prepare them well for the upcoming Champions Trophy, Bangladesh will play a practice game against Pakistan Shaheens at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai today (Monday), reports BSS.

Pakistan Shaheens, originally the Pakistan A team, will feature some of the national discarded players with Moahmmad Haris leading the side.

This is the lone practice game scheduled for Bangladesh for the tournament, being held for the first

time since 2017 in England. Bangladesh were the semifinalist of the tournament in the last edition.

This time Pakistan is hosting the tournament but it is being held based on Hybrid model. Dubai, UAE is the other venue outside of Pakistan for the matches featuring India.

So, Bangladesh will play their first match in Dubai as they take on India to kick-off the

mission on February 19. Therefore, they chose Dubai as the venue for the practice match.
