Tigers take on Pakistan in do-or-die match today

Bangladesh will take on favourite Pakistan in their crucial do-or-die second One Day International (ODI) of the Cool & Cool three-match series today (Saturday) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, reports UNB.
State-owned Bangladesh Television will telecast live the day-night match that starts at 1:30 pm.
Bangladesh must have to win the second ODI to save defeat of the series as they lost the first ODI to Pakistan by five wickets Thursday last.
But, the scenario is quite different in the series. Bangladesh showed their worst batting display in the last two matches in this venue.
The hosts stumbled at 85 runs to chase the 135 runs target set by Pakistan in the only T20. The situation in the ODI was very painful. The Bangladesh team scored only 91 runs in the 50 overs match.
So, it could be easily predicted that the performance graph of the Bangladesh team is in downward trend match by match and the result will be seen in the series deciding match on Saturday.
It is very difficult to say right now in which direction the consequence of the Bangladesh team is going now.
Everybody knows that Pakistan is a very strong side at this moment and they are favourites in the series, but they are not unbeatable. They play cricket with bat and ball like the Bangladesh do.
Merely, the difference between the two sides is mentality. The Pakistani cricketers are more courageous than cricketers of Bangladesh.
