Tigresses lose 2nd T20 against Pakistan

After washing out of the first match of their four-match T20I series, host Bangladesh conceded a 58-run defect to Pakistan in the second match at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, Pakistan posted 88 for 5 in the curtailed 14-over-aside match and restricted the host side at 30 for all in 12.5 overs where player of the match Anam Amin got three wickets conceding no runs in three overs for the winners.
Hosts Bangladesh was under the threat of making ever-lowest T20 total losing nine wickets for just 23 runs, but luckily escaped the bitter record scoring 30 for all in overs.
The ever-lowest T20 total was 25 runs made by Mozambique against Namibia in August this year.
Nida Dar [2/4], Nashra Sandhu [2/7] and Aiman Anwer [2/13] equally shared six wickets while Sana Mir [1/5] was another wicket taker to restrict Bangladesh's all wickets on single digits.
Pakistan captain Javeria Khan top-scored 25 off 18 balls with two boundaries and one six while Nahida Khan added run-a-ball 18 with two boundaries. Muneeba Ali [10 off 17b; 1x4] and Aliya Riaz [10* off 12b; 1x4] were two other double digit scorers for winners. Nahida Akter [2/19], Lata Mondal [1/13] and Jahanara Alam [1/13] were the wicket takers for Bangladesh.
Both sides will take on each other in the 3rd match at the same venue on Friday (October 50).
Earlier, the first match of the four-match Women's T20 series between hosts Bangladesh and touring Pakistan was abandoned without a single ball being bowled due to wet outfield in Cox's Bazar on Tuesday.
