A 14-member Titas Club Volleyball team left the city for Nepal on Saturday morning to compete in the Open Volleyball Tournament scheduled for April 07-11 in Chitwan, reports UNB.
Titas, a leading Dhaka Premier Division Volleyball League club, will compete in the Nepalese International Volleyball Tournament organised by Pancha Ratna Youth Club, along with Indian Railways and four other teams from hosts Nepal.
Titas Club formed a strong team for Nepalese tourney recruiting four start players from other teams. They are Al Amin, Imran Haider, Harshit Biwas and Ruhul Amin.
However, grouping and fixture of the six-team tournament are yet to be finalised.
Members of Titas Club: Al Zabir, Ratul Haider, Sona Miah, Redwanur Rahman, Ashraf uddin Sheikh, Mohammad Saifuddin, Abdul Momin, Al Amin, Imran Haider, Harshit Biswas and Ruhul Amin.
