Turkmenistan clinch Asian Senior Men\\\'s CZC V’ball title

Turkmenistan clinched the DBBL Asian Senior Men' s Central Zone Volleyball Championship crown beating the Maldives by 27-29, 22-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13 points (3-2 sets) in the final at Shaheed Suhrawardy National Indoor Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.

Afghanistan finished third beating earthquake-torn Nepal by 24-26, 25-18, 34-32, 22-25, 15-11 points (3-2 sets) in the day's place deciding match.

State minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest. Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVBF) president Atiqul Islam, general secretary Ashiqur Rahman Miku, senior vice president H Aslam Sunny and DBBL managing director KS Tabrej were also present on the occasion.
