Turkmenistan, Maldives in semis in Asian Volleyball

Turkmenistan and Maldives reached semifinals from Pool A and B respectively eliminating their respective rivals in the DBBL Asian Senior Men's Central Zone Volleyball Championship held Tuesday at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in the city, reports BSS.
In the day's matches, Turkmenistan beat Uzbekistan by 3-2 sets while Maldives eliminated Kyrgyzstan by straight 3-0 set. The semifinal will be held today (Wednesday) at 3:00 pm at the same venue.
