Two players share lead after 8th round

Two players shared lead in the 9th Standard Chartered School Chess Tournament securing seven points in the point table at the end of 8th round matches of Classes VI-X Group at Chess Federation Thursday, reports UNB.
Abdullah Al Saif (Quality School) and Prantik Roy (Carmel School Kolkata) shared the lead.
Mosabbir Khan Shiblu (Motijheel Govt. School) followed the leaders with 6.5 points.
In the KG-V group, Shayan Majumder (Kolkata Indira Gandhi School) and Mainuddin Ahmed Asif (Hazrat Shah Ali School) maintained their joint lead with 7.5 points.
Shoumik Saha (St. Gregory School), Kawsar Hossain Rony, Al-Amin (Aporajeyo Bangladesh) and Emon Hossain are in second position with six points each.
