U-14 cricket meet opens in Magura

MAGURA, Dec 23:   Young Tiger Under-14 Divisional Cricket Tournament-2014 was inaugurated at the Freedom Fighter Ashaduzzaman Stadium here organised by the Magura District Sports Association (DSA) Tuesday.

Magura Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Mahabubur Rahman was present on the occasion as the chief guest while Magura DSA joint secretary Amir Osman was also present.

A total of four district teams Khulna, Meherpur, Jessore and Kushtia are participating in the tournament.

In the inauguration match Khulna district team defeated Meherpur by 9 wickets.
