U-14 eve booters to leave for Nepal Apr 19

An 18-member Bangladesh under-14 girls football team will leave for Nepal on April 19 to take part in the AFC U-14 Girls' Regional Championship schedule to be held on April 20-25 in Katmandu, reports BSS.
Bangladesh are placed in group B along with Bhutan and India while the group A consists of Islamic Republic of Iran, The Maldives, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
Addressing at a pre-departure press conference Wednesday at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Bhaban, Bangladesh team's head coach Golam Robanni Chotan said they are aiming at playing final of the championship as his team have some players who have experience in the last U-14 championship held in Lanka.
Choton said though India is a strong opponent, they would fight neck and neck to earn at least one point.
Bangladesh will open their tournament campaign taking on India on April 21 at the Dashrath Stadium and meet Bhutan on the following day (April 22) at the Army Physical Centre Stadium.
Bangladesh women's wing deputy chairman Mahfuza Akter expressed the hope that the girls would be able to play their best during the meet.
Bangladesh U-14 team: Taslima, Mahmuda Akhter, Rupa Akhter, Shamsunnahar, Ruma Akter, Sheuli Azim, Mossammat Nargis Khatun, Nazma, Josna, Mosammat Razia Khatun, Sanjida Akter, Mosaamat Mishrat Jahan, (vice captain), Srimoti Krishna Rani Sarkar (captain), Maria Manda, Tohura Khatun, Monika Chakma, Marzia, Mosammat Sirat Jahan.
