Udayachal rout Prantik

Udayachal Club notched a massive 132-run victory over Prantik Krira Ckakra in the Group-A match of the Dhaka Metropolis Second Division ODM Cricket League at the Fatullah Outer Stadium Tuesday, reports UNB.

Batting first after winning the toss Udayachal were all out for a formidable 301 runs in 49.5 overs, riding on the opening stand of 129 runs in 16.3 overs between skipper Golam Mortaza and Abdul Ahad Gazi.

Mortaza hit 96 off 57 balls with five fours and 11 sixes number six while Imranuzzaman's not out 51 off 61 was the other notable score for the side.

Chasing a mammoth 302, Prantik KC were dismissed for 169 in 44.4 overs.

In the day's other matches, spurred by Hanif Dhaly's 99 runs, Kalindi Krira Chakra (214/10 in 48.2 overs) defeated Young Pegasus-A (160/10 in 42 overs) by 54 runs at Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium while Dhaka Royal Cricketers (221/10 in 49.5 overs) beat Rupali Bank Krira Parishad (199/10 in 44.2 overs) by 22 runs at City Club Ground.
