Uttar Baridhara Club earned promotion to the Metropolis First Division Football League outplaying Euro Famous Club by 3-0 goals in a match of the Second Division Football League at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium at Kamalapur in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
Dulal Hasan struck twice in the 8th and 49th minutes while Swapan netted the other goal in the 25th minute for the winners.
In the day's other match, Kawran Bazar Pragoti Sangha beat
Little Friends Club also by 3-0 goals at the same venue.
Atiqur Rahman Tara scored twice in the 29th and 36th minutes while Ahad Hossain netted the rest goal in the 59th minute for the winners.
After the day's matches, Uttar Baridhara Club topped the list securing 36 points to assure their promotion, Motijheel T&T Club followed them with 30 points while Kawran Bazar Pragoti Sangha were in the 3rd position bagging 29 points, playing 14 matches each.
