Victoria SC beat Bangladesh Air Force

Victoria Sporting Club made a flying start in the Citycell Federation Cup Football Tournament beating Bangladesh Air Force by 4-1 goals in the group B opening match at the Banani Army Stadium in the city Tuesday, reports UNB.
Ripon struck twice -- in the 38th and 44th minutes, while Arafat and Milon scored one goal each -- in the 24th and 27th minutes respectively -- for the winners. Ramjan netted the lone goal for the losers in the 37th minute.
In the day's other group A match, BKSP were held to a 1-1 draw by newcomers Rajshahi Digonto Prosari at Gazipur Stadium.
Earlier, in their opening matches, BKSP edged past Bangladesh Police by 1-0 goals, while Rajshahi Digonto Prosari suffered a 2-0 defeat against Jatrabari KC.
In the day's match, Sabuj put BKSP ahead in the 24th minute, while Mamun scored the equaliser for Digonto Prosari in the 48th minute.
