West Indies cricketers in city

A 10-man first batch of the West Indies Cricket team arrived in the city on Wednesday to play a two-match Test, three-match ODI and three-match T20 series against Bangladesh in Chattogram, Dhaka and Sylhet, reports UNB.

They landed at Shahjalal International Airport from India in the afternoon.

However, the Caribbean team left the capital for the port city of Chattogram in the evening to prepare themselves for the two-day tour match against BCB Eleven beginning on November 18 at the MA Aziz Stadium there.

Other players of the West Indies team are scheduled to arrive in the city in three groups today (Thursday) ahead of the two-day practice match in Chattogram.
