WI, Pakistan, S Lanka, Netherlands almost ensure super-six berth

West Indies, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the Netherlands have almost ensured their super-six berth in the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier beating their respective rivals at separate city venues Thursday, reports UNB. On the day's group B match, strong West Indies recorded their second successive win with an emphatic eight wickets victory over Pakistan at the BKSP ground-2 in Savar. With the day's victory, West Indies almost confirmed their super-six berth and they have two matches in hand while Pakistan also ensured their super-six berth with two wins and a defeat, and they have one group match to play. In another group B match, Ireland recorded their first win in the tournament crushing Japan by 225 runs at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. After the day's feat, Ireland kept their super-six hope alive in the meet while Japan is yet to earn any victory, playing their two group matches. In the group A match, Sri Lanka almost ensured their super-six berth beating Zimbabwe by seven wickets at the BKSP ground-3. It was the second successive win for Sri Lanka from three matches while Zimbabwe is yet to earn any point from their last two group matches. In another group A match, the Netherlands also almost ensured their last six berth beating USA by a massive 225 runs at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Narayanganj. It was the second successive victory for Netherlands from their two group matches while USA is yet to notch up any victory also playing the same number of matches
