Wills Little Flower School earned an exciting two-run victory over Nawabpur High School in a Dhaka Metro Zone match of the Standard Chartered Young Tigers Under-16 National School Cricket Tournament at the Gulshan Youth Club ground Thursday, reports UNB.
Batting first, Wills Little Flower School amassed 277 runs for all in 48.2 overs with Jawad making 68 and Sa'dman 49 runs.
Rabbi claimed three wickets for 29 runs.
In reply, Nawabpur High School fought bravely but finally all out for 275 runs in 47.3 overs with AR Anas scoring 87 and Atiqul 60 runs.
Sa'dman grabbed four wickets conceding 46 runs.
At Jessore, Jessore Police Lines School (123 for 9 in 27.2 overs) beat King Faisal School (122 for all in 31 overs) by one wicket at the Jessore Upashahar ground Thursday.
At Manikganj, Manik-ganj Model High School (172 for all in 30.1 overs) defeated Bandutia High School (126 for all in 29.5 overs) by 46 runs at the Manikganj Stadium Thursday.
