The second season of the 'Wings Uni Futsal' 2019 competition, powered by Hero, will begin at Shaheed Suhrawardi National Indoor Stadium at Mirpur in the city today (Sunday), reports UNB.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Hasan Russell, MP, will formally inaugurate the five-day event in the morning.
Thirty-two renowned public and private universities of the country will initially compete with each other in the first round group matches. Later, 16 teams will compete in the round of sixteen.
The quarterfinals, semifinals and final will be held on April 04 at the same venue.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the meet.
