Women\\\'s Cricket League called off

The 2nd semifinal of the Metropolitan Women's Cricket League between Khelaghar Samaj Kalyan Sangha and Dhaka Abahani Limited was called off due to rain Thursday, reports UNB.

The match was scheduled to start at 9:30 am, but could not start due to heavy downpour at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

The match is likely to be held either tomorrow (Saturday) or Sunday at the same venue subject to weather condition.

Earlier, Dhaka Mohammedan SC reached the final beating Gulshan Youth Club by 99 runs in a rain-curtailed first semifinal last Tuesday.
