Women's Div Cricket begins Dec 27

Women's Divisional Cricket Tournament will be held in the city from December 27 to January 5, reports UNB.
The 10-day meet is being organised by the women's wing of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The decision was taken at a joint meeting of the BCB's Women's Wing with relevant cricket operations committees on Thursday. BCB's Women Wing chairman Monwar Anis Khan presided over the meeting.
The meeting also decided to begin the Girls' School Cricket Tournament in the capital from January 17 to January 29 next year while the Cricket Tournament for Services and University teams will take place in Dhaka from February 1.
It was also decided in the meeting that the game development committee would distribute cricketing gears at the Divisional and School Levels.
Heads of cricket-related committees Gazi Ashraf Hossain, Abdul Latif Khan, Shafiqur Rahman and senior officials Zahid Reza, Tariquzzaman, Hafizur Rahman Joarder and Rezaur Rahman Sinha were present on the occasion.
