Women\\\'s football Norio optimistic about win

Bangladesh National Women's Football Team coach Tsukitate Norio expressed the hope that Bangladesh will perform well in the SAFF Championship next month in Pakistan, reports UNB.
"I've come to Bangladesh for win not to lose," he said during his introduction appearance to pressmen Saturday at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House in the capital.
The 55-year old Japanese coach also expressed his satisfaction over the progress of Bangladesh women's football saying "Yes, they have good potential considering action and run."
Regarding the weakness of the women's team, the new coach said, "They have not good control over ball and often miss the passes."
"You need good and educated coaches and a well-organised development plan to do better in the future," said Tsukitate who coached Guam and Laos men's national team in his decorated coaching career.
Tsukitate will coach the National women's side up to SAAF Championship in Pakistan alongside, as an advisor for Under-16 women' s team.
Earlier, BFF President Kazi Salahuddin introduced the Japanese coach to the press and thanked the president of Japan Football Association (JFA) for taking the initiative to send Tsukitate to Bangladesh.
BFF Women's Wing deputy chairman Mahfuza Akhter Kiron and BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag were also present on the occasion.
