Dhaka district emerged champions in the MARCEL LED Television Inter-divisional Women's Kabaddi Competition beating Narail district by 23-16 points with one creditable 'lona' in the final Wednesday at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city, reports BSS.
Besides, Jamalpur district finished third position in the competition defeating Panchagarh district by 41-23 points with two 'lona' in the place-deciding match.
Sharmin Sultana Rima of Narail district was adjudged the player of the match while Shanaz Parven Maleka of Dhaka District was named the player of the tournament.
Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Abdul Latif Siddique attended the final as the chief guest and distributed prizes.
