The Basic Bank 18th National Women's Handball
Tournament, organised by Bangladesh Handball Federation, will begin on July 19 at the Dhanmondi Women's Sports Complex in the city, reports UNB.
Seventeen 17 teams, including defending champions BJMC and runners-up Bangladesh Ansar, spit into four groups, will compete in the five-day meet to be held after two years.
Later, four group champions, will play in the semi-finals.
Participating teams: BJMC, Bangladesh Ansar, Faridpur, Naogaon, Barguna, Panchagarh, Magura, Madaripur, Narail, Satkhira, Joypurhat, Jhalakhati, Kurigram, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Gopalganj DSAs.
