Women's team leave for India Wednesday

Bangladesh National Women's Kabaddi Team will leave here for India Wednesday (Sept 17) to participate in the 3rd Asian Women's Kabaddi Championship to be held at Madhurai in Tamilnadu State on September 18-21, reports UNB.
Ahead of the tour, the India-bound women's kabaddi team, led by Shahnaj Parvin Maleka, called on secretary general of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Kutubuddin Ahmed Sunday at the BOA conference room.
Addressing the participants, BOA secretary general Kutubuddin said: "The nation looks forward to your success. I do hope the team will put their best effort to bring a good result in the competition"
BOA executive member Rana Hasan, Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation vice president Amir Hossain Patwari and team manager Rowshan Akhter Chhobi were also present on the occasion.
Members of India-bound Kabaddi Team are: Shahnaj Parvin Maleka (captain), Yasmin Ara, Latika Chakma, Laboni Chakma, Fatema Akter Shila, Hasna Mariom Barna, Farhana Khatun, Morium Khatun, Moyna Begum and Quamrunahar Shila.
