Tiger Woods is expecting "one of the most difficult tests" he will ever face at the US Open at Oakmont, which gets under way today (Thursday), reports BBC.
"The way the course is playing, it's only going to become even more difficult," said Woods, who is looking for his third major in four starts.
"You'll have to play well from tee to green, and then the fun really begins."
However, the world number one and two-time champion said he thought the course was "very fair".
Asked if he felt the difficulty factor at Oakmont gave him a possible advantage, Woods said: "I've had success in the past on difficult golf courses”.
