Jamalpur and Naogaon DSAs reached the final of the 5th Walton National Youth Women's Handball Championship eliminating their rivals in the semifinals at the Shaheed Capt (Retd) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city on Monday, reports UNB.
The two teams will play final on Wednesday at 3:30 pm at the same venue.
In the day's semifinals, Naogaon DSA booked a seat for the final beating Thakurgaon DSA by 17-4 goals after leading the first half by 7-2 goals while Jamalpur DSA was qualified for the final defeating Panchagarh DSA by 21-12 goals after dominating in the first session by 11-6 goals.
The 3rd place deciding match between the two losing semifinalists will be held today (Tuesday) at 11.00 am at the same venue.
