Zia earns 2 points Int\\\'l Chess Festival

Grand Master Ziaur Rahman of Bangladesh earned two points after the third round 'Elite Group' matches of the 6th KIIT International Chess Festival in Bhubaneswar, Odisha in India Monday, reports UNB.

In the 3rd round match, Zia drew with International Master Himanshu Sharma of India.

Points secured by other Bangladesh players after the 3rd round:

Saiful Islam Chowdhury - 1.5 points; FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman, Sarwar

Hossain Ullash, Kazi Mahbub Afzal, Mohammad Abul Kashem and Monir Hossain Monir - 1 point; and Mohammad Sirajul Kabir - 0.5 point.
