Zia loses to Rinat in Asian Chess

Bangladeshi GM Ziaur Rahman lost to GM Jumabayev Rinat of Kazakhstan in the 7th Round Open Section match of the Asian Continental Chess Championships held in Sharjah, UAE Wednesday, reports UNB.

Zia played with white pieces used London Colle systems and lost after 64 moves in the 7th round. Zia earned 4 points from seven matches.

In the Women's section, Bangladeshi WFM Nazrana Khan Eva drew with Faqeeh Aseel of Palestine in 7th round match on Wednesday to earn 2.5 point from seven matches.
