14th AGM of Janata Capital and Investment Limited held

The 14th annual general meeting (AGM) of Janata Capital and Investment Limited (JCIL), a subsidiary company of Janata Bank PLC, was held at its head office in the city on Wednesday. Md Abdul Jabber, Chairman of the board of directors of JCIL, and Managing Director & CEO of the holding company of JCIL, Janata Bank, presided over the meeting. For the year ended on December 31, 2023, JCIL earned a net profit of Tk 143.0 million (14.30 crore) after taxes and provisions.
