23nd AGM of Union Insurance Company held

The 23nd annual general meeting (AGM) of Union Insurance Company Ltd was held on Wednesday virtually, which was presided over by the insurance founder chairman Mozaffar Hossain Paltu. Shareholders approved a 10 per cent cash dividend. The AGM was followed by the board of directors meeting where founder Chairman Mozaffar Hossain Paltu was unanimously re-elected as chairman of the company and Mohammed Hasmot Ali was re-elected as vice chairman. Md Azizur Rahman was re-elected as chairman of the executive committee, Md Belayet Hossain as chairman of the finance committee, Jahangir Alam as chairman of the claims committee, Mohammad Faiz as chairman of the audit committee and MUA Quader as chairman of the NRC committee. Directors, Chief Executive Officer Talukder Md Zakaria Hossain and Company Secretary Shafquat Moula were also present.
