A total of 288 students recently graduated from Emirates Aviation University (EAU) and are ready to enter the international aerospace and aviation sector.
Held at EAU campus in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, the graduation ceremony showcased students who are diverse in their nationalities, according to a statement.
Students graduated from the postgraduate and undergraduate programmes from disciplines including aviation management, aeronautical and aerospace engineering, aviation security, software engineering, and aircraft maintenance engineering.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group, and chancellor of EAU, officially awarded the degrees at the university's 34th ceremony.
This year's cohort of 288 graduates included 100 postgraduate and 188 bachelor students among whom 37 are Emirates sponsored students. EAU also honoured 14 exemplary students across all disciplines.
Additionally, over 180 undergraduate students received the opportunity to intern with the Emirates Group for more than one semester.
