30th AGM of Kay & Que (Bangladesh) Ltd held

Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman of Kay & Que (Bangladesh) Ltd. addressing the 30th Annual General Meeting of the Company held recently along with other directors.

The 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Kay & Que (Bangladesh) Ltd was held recently at Sundarban Hotel in the city. The Chairman of the Company Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo presided over the meeting. The meeting was well attended by the shareholders participating in the discussion on the Business Performance, Conditions and Usefulness of Plants, Machineries & Technology (Unit-1 & Unit-2) and also the upcoming steps of the company.
In consideration of financial losses Tk.173.87 lac for the year 2013 and also the current condition of the project, the company declared "No Dividend" for 2013 and the Shareholders also approved the agenda of the meeting accordingly.
The other Directors Mrs. Tahmina Begum, Mr. Tajwar M. Awal, Mr. Md. Manirul Islam, Mr. M. Jalalul Azim and the Independent Directors Mr. A K M Rafiqul Islam, FCA, Brig. Gen ( Retd) AMM Wazed Thakur, Mr. Md. Zahirul Alam, FCA and also the Company Secretary Mr. Fakir Abul Kalam Azad were also present in the meeting.
