53rd AGM of Padma Oil held

The 53rd annual general meeting (AGM) of Padma Oil Company Limited was held virtually on Sunday, says a press release.
Chairman of its Board of Directors Md Mahbub Hossain presided over the meeting.
Directors of the company Basudev Ganguly, Kabirul Izdani Khan, Kazi Md. Anwarul Hakim, Kazi Muhammad Mozammel Haque, Md. Zakir Hossain, Nasiruddin Aktar Rashid and Sujadur Rahman, Managing Director Md. Abu Saleh Iqbal, Company Secretary Numan Ahmad Tapadar and CFO Kanchan Chandra Som and other senior officials and shareholders joined the meeting.
The shareholders approved the company's audited financial statements and Director's report for the year ended June 30, 2022 and expressed satisfaction over the overall performance of the company.
The company's chairman Md Mahbub Hossain and Managing Director Md Abu Saleh Iqbal answered questions from the shareholders.
The AGM also approved 125 per cent cash dividend for financial year 2021-22.
