Held from October 20-22, 2025 in Jamalpur and October 21-23, 2025 in Mymensingh, the programmes brought together 60 promising women entrepreneurs - 30 from each district - for intensive capacity-building sessions designed to strengthen their entrepreneurial journey.
The training focused on business management, digital skills, financial literacy, and market access, equipping participants to expand their enterprises and become role models for other aspiring women entrepreneurs in their communities.
Among the distinguished guests were Munir Hasan, President of Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN); Md Ikbal Hossain, Territory Manager (Jamalpur), Small Business, SME Division, BRAC Bank; and Md Aftab Uddin, Territory Manager (Mymensingh), Small Business, SME Division, BRAC Bank.

'Amrai TARA' is BRAC Bank's flagship programme for women entrepreneurs across Bangladesh, supported by the Gates Foundation. The initiative focuses on knowledge-building, skill enhancement, and long-term empowerment through training, mentorship, and access to markets and finance.
By extending the 'Amrai TARA' initiative to the two regions, BRAC Bank continues its mission to reach women entrepreneurs beyond major cities, ensuring that enterprise empowerment becomes truly nationwide.
BRAC Bank has trained over 3,000 women entrepreneurs in 20 districts under the 'Amrai TARA' banner, with plans to expand its reach to every district of Bangladesh, strengthening the backbone of women-led enterprises across the nation.
