A delegation of representatives from the microcredit sector called on newly appointed Finance Minister

A delegation of representatives from the microcredit sector called on newly appointed Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali at his residence on Monday. Sector leaders, including Director-Finance of Buro Bangladesh Mosharrof Hossain, were present at the meeting. They discussed diverse issues, including collaboration with NGO-MFI, concerns like additional funding for the sector and capacity building. They also proposed a joint meeting between the sector and the regulator.
