United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) has received an award named 'Excellence in Product Innovation 2018-2019' from VISA International Limited, says a statement.
Executive Vice President & Head of Retail Business of UCB Taufiq Hassan and First Vice President & Head of Cards Nehal A Huda received the award on behalf of the bank from T. R. Ramachandran, Group Country Manager of VISA International Limited, India & South Asia in an award-giving ceremony styled 'Visa: Reimagine Digital Payment' at a hotel in Dhaka recently.
The statement said, the accolade is a testament of UCB's feat in launching contactless payments.
