Achia Sea Foods to raise Tk 150m through QIO

Achia Sea Foods will raise a capital worth Tk 150 million through Qualified Investor Offer (QIO).
The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) on Tuesday approved the company's proposal for raising the capital through the QIO.
As per the BSEC approval, Achia Sea Foods will issue 15 million shares at an offer price of Tk 10 each to eligible investors (EIs) under the fixed price method.
The company will utilise the fund to purchase machinery, repay loans, and cater to the expenses of QIO.
As per the financial statement for the year ended on June 30, 2021, the company's EPS (earnings per share) stood at Tk 1.88, while the NAV (net asset value) per share was Tk 17.07.
After rising capital through the QIO, the company will be listed with the exchange's SME board earlier introduced to facilitate the growth of potential small cap companies.
As per the BSEC approval, Achia Sea Foods will not be allowed to issue bonus shares within three years from the date of its debut trading on the SME platform.
AAA Finance and Investment is working as issue manager of the Achia Sea Foods.
