Amalendu Roy appointed as Premier Bank DMD

Amalendu Roy has been appointed as deputy managing director (DMD) of Premier Bank.
Prior to this joining, Mr. Roy served as DMD and head of corporate branch of United Commercial Bank, according to a statement.
The veteran banker has 28 years of professional experience in the banking industry in diverse capacities.
Mr. Roy started his career in Uttara Bank as probationary officer in 1996. Later, he joined National Bank and then United Commercial Bank.
He completed his post-graduation from the University of Dhaka. Mr. Roy participated in various training, seminars and workshops on leadership, credit, and foreign exchange at home and abroad.
