Anisur Rahman joins BASIC Bank as MD and CEO

Md. Anisur Rahman has joined the state-owned BASIC Bank Limited as Managing Director (MD) and CEO on Thursday. He will discharge his duties as MD and CEO at BASIC Bank for the next three years. Before this assignment, Mr. Rahman was Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Agrani Bank. He joined at Agrani Bank as a senior officer in 1988 under BRC and served in different capacities of the bank, including Head Office divisions, circles and branches. He attended different training programs at home and abroad. He is also a Diplomaed Associate of the Institute of Bankers Bangladesh (DAIBB). Rahman obtained honours and master's degrees in mathematics from Dhaka University.
