Annual confce of Delta Life Insurance held

Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd, the leading life insurer in Bangladesh, earned a total premium income of Tk. 5.44 billion. This includes First Year Premium of approx.Tk.1.0 billion.

This was disclosed in the Annual Conference-2014 of the company held recently at Basundhara Convention Centre-2 at Baridhara in the city.

Monzurur Rahman, Chairman of the Company was the Chief Guest in the Conference. He thanked the policy holders, patrons, all field staff, organisers, employees and well wishers in the Conference. He urged them to work hard to continue the success.

The Chief Executive Officer Swapan Kumar Sarkar, FCA in his speech said that organisational capacity is the key to success in life insurance. This is why success is possible through hard work, honesty and integrity. He urged them all to adopt relevant work strategy to succeed in the competitive market.He also said that an application software is under process of being installed to accelerate the service. As a result the service will be prompt and transparent.

Adeeba Rahman, ACII (UK), Additional Managing Director of the Company, in her speech to the participants, she emphasised that OL and GN-GRB was started with a noble vision. She said that it is now possible to bring the services at the door steps of a huge number of unprivileged people. A large section of our clients in GN-GRB are females and a large section of organisers are also women. As a result empowerment of women is growing. She said that the conference of both OL and GN-GRB are being held together. She urged them all to put their best efforts in increasing the rate of business growth of the Company.

Around 1000 development officials and organizers participated in the Annual Conference from all over the country. The successful officials and organizers who met their target were rewarded in the conference.
