Md Anwar Hossain, Additional Chief Engineer of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), has assumed the responsibility as the chief engineer (routine charge) as per an office order issued by the Local Government Division on August 31, says a press release.
Mr Hossain started off his career at the LGED as an assistant engineer in 1990. He became superintendent engineer in 2020 after serving as upazila engineer, executive engineer and project director at the headquarters.
