The Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia's state-owned mining company, Ma'aden, to import 600,000 tonnes of Di-ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertiliser annually. The deal, which will cover the years 2025 and 2026, aims to strengthen reserves of non-urea fertiliser in the country. BADC Chairman Md Ruhul Amin Khan and a representative of Ma'aden signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides in Riyadh recently. Agriculture Secretary Dr Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian was also present.
