Bangladesh Development Bank gets new DMD

Parveen Akter has joined Bangladesh Development Bank PLC as the new Deputy Managing Director, says a statement.

Previously, Parveen Akter was working as DMD at the Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank. She started off her career as a Senior Officer at Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation in 1996.

She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka in 1988 and Master's degree from the same department in 1990.

During her career, she served as General Manager of Bangladesh Krishi Bank and Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation.

She also served as Deputy Managing Director at Agrani Bank PLC. Additionally, she has participated in various training programmes, workshops, and seminars both at home and abroad.
