Banglalink signs deal with BTCL

Banglalink has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) for a tower sharing initiative, says a press release.

Under the agreement, BTCL will share its tower infrastructure with Bangla-link.

Erik Aas, chief executive officer, Banglalink, and Dr Md Rafiqul Matin, managing director, BTCL, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations on Tuesday.

Posts and Telecommuni-cations Minister Mustafa Jabbar was present as the chief guest at the signing ceremony.

Shyam Sunder Sikder, chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), and Taimur Rahman, chief corporate and regulatory affairs officer, Banglalink, were also present.
