As part of its corporate social responsibility, Bank Asia implemented a modern two-tier solar-powered irrigation project in Pirgacha, Rangpur, aimed at supporting marginal farmers. The initiative has been implemented in collaboration with the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (RDA), Bogura. The project was officially handed over to the local farmers' association on November 26. Dr. A. K. M. Oli Ullah, director general (additional secretary) of RDA, Bogura, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Rashed Mahmud, assistant vice president of Bank Asia, and Ferdous Khan, director of RDA, Bogura, were present as special guests.
