The board of directors of Bank Asia Limited has approved issuing seven years floating rate non-convertible subordinated bond with an issue price of Tk 5.0 billion through private placement to raise regulatory capital (Tier 2) of the company as per Basel III norms, subject to the approval of the Bangladesh Bank and Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
