BAPEX holds 34th AGM

BAPEX Chairman Md Nurul Alam presides over the 34th AGM of Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration & Production Company Ltd. on Wednesday.

The 34th annual general meeting (AGM) of Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration & Production Company Ltd. (BAPEX) was held on Wednesday on a virtual platform, says a press release.
Shareholders and members of the Board of Directors of the company participated in the meeting presided over by Md Nurul Alam, Chairman of BAPEX Board and Secretary, Energy & Mineral Resources Division.
The audited financial statements of the company for fiscal year 2022-23 was approved by the shareholders at the meeting. During FY'23, the total income and expenditure of the company were Tk 6.08 billion (Tk 608.49 crore) and Tk 5.3 billion (Tk 530.71 crore) respectively. And the profit before tax stood at Tk 777 million (Tk 77.78 crore). During the year, the company deposited Tk 3.32 billion (Tk 332.12 crore) as government revenue to the national treasury.
