BAPI to provide medical and food support for flood victims

The Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industry (BAPI) in collaboration with the 'Anti-Discrimination Student Movement,' organised a relief programme to provide medical and food support to flood-affected people of the country on Saturday.
To mark this initiative, a meeting was held with some student leaders of the 'Anti-Discrimination Student Movement' organised by BAPI at its office in Dhaka.
Abdul Muktadir, President of the BAPI and Managing Director of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Dr. Robed Amin, Directorate General of Health Services, Major General Dr. Kazi Md. Rashid-Un-Nabi, Director General of Drug Administration, Major General Md. Habib Ullah, Chairman of the Sena Kallan Sangstha, Zahida Fiza Kabir, CEO of Sajeda Foundation, SM Shafiuzzaman, Secretary General of the Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI), Major General (Retd.) Md. Mostafizur Rahman, CEO, BAPI, and representatives from the 'Anti-Discrimination Student Movement' including Tarikul Islam, Masuduzzaman and Dr. Moniruzzman were present at the event.
Abdul Muktadir emphasized the importance of collective efforts to address the disasters and hardships caused by the floods in various districts of the country.
He affirmed the commitment of the pharmaceutical industry to continue providing medical and food aid to the flood victims.
To support the relief activities of the 'Anti-Discrimination Student Movement', BAPI handed over essential medicines including orsaline, cholera saline, paracetamol and antibiotics.
Additionally, several trucks containing sugar, juice, and biscuits were distributed to those in need.
