BB, Union Capital sign SME pact

A signing ceremony for participation in 'Refinance Scheme for Agro-based Product Processing Industries in Rural Areas and for Small Enterprises' was held recently in Bangladesh Bank. The agreement was signed between Bangladesh Bank and Union Capital Limited. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Md. Abul Quasem, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank.

Mr. Md. Masum Patowary, General Manager of SME & Special Programmes Department of Bangladesh Bank and Mr. Md. Akter Hossain Sannamat FCA, FCS, Managing Director & CEO of Union Capital Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Amongst others, Deputy General Manager Mr. S.M. Ferdaus Hossain, Joint Director Mr. S.M. Mohsin Hossain of Bangladesh Bank and Mr. Md. Shohidul Islam, Head of SME of Union Capital Limited and other senior officials of both the institutions were present, said a press release.
